Custom Grillz Mold Instructions

Equipment Included

• 2 putty containers: 1 blue and 1 yellow molding agent

• 1 mouth tray

Step 1: Mix the Putty

Mix the contents of the blue and yellow putty containers together until the color is completely uniform.

This should take no longer than 10–15 seconds, as the putty hardens quickly. Once mixed, move on to the next step right away.

Step 2: Place the Putty in the Tray

Roll the mixed putty into a snake-like shape.

Place the putty evenly into the mouth tray, making sure it is spread across the area where your teeth will press into it.

Step 3: Take Your Impression

Place the tray into your mouth, making sure it covers both your teeth and gumline.

Bite down firmly and hold the tray in place for 5 full minutes. Do not move, adjust, or wiggle your teeth while the mold is setting.

For best results, pull your lip over the tray and gently press the tray against your teeth and gums to help capture a clear gumline impression.

Step 4: Remove the Mold

Carefully remove the tray by pulling it straight down for top teeth or straight up for bottom teeth.

Do not wiggle the tray back and forth, as this can distort the impression.

Step 5: Store the Mold

Do not remove the putty from the tray after use.

Place the mold, still inside the mouth tray, into the labeled plastic baggie provided with your kit. This baggie has your order number written on it and must be included when mailing your mold back to us.

Step 6: Mail the Mold Back to Us

To help keep our prices as low as possible, we do not include prepaid return shipping labels or packaging materials.

Most customers simply visit their local USPS post office and ship their mold using USPS Ground Advantage, which is usually the most cost-effective option for small packages.

Please do not use regular postage stamps, as they are intended for envelopes and letters, not packages.

If the original bubble mailer is still in good condition, you may be able to reuse it. Otherwise, any envelope will work, but we recommend using a bubble mailer or small box for better protection.

If you no longer have the labeled baggie, please include a note inside the package with your order number.

What Happens Next

Once we receive your impressions, our jeweler will review them. We will then email you with an update.

Production typically takes about 6 to 8 weeks after your impressions are received and approved. Once your custom grillz are finished, they will be shipped to you.

Important Tips

• The putty hardens fast, so mix and place it quickly.

• Mix the putty for no more than 10–15 seconds.

• Make sure the tray captures both your teeth and gumline.

• Pulling your lip over the tray can help capture a better gumline impression.

• Do not remove the putty from the tray after taking your mold.

• Do not wiggle the tray when removing it from your mouth.
